The Tochal Cable Car Company, with its unique specialties provides you with the possibility of seeing the beautiful four season nature of Iran from the heights of the Alborz mountain range.
The Tochal Cable Cars are under the management of a company and include:
-The longest cable car lines in the world, crossing the southern slopes of the Alborz mountain
range.
-This line is 7500 metres long and travels at a height of 3730 metres above sea level.
-There are seven stations situated along the cable car lines
-The cable cars can carry six people and travel at a speed of 4 metres a second.
-There are three skiing slopes with complete teleski facilities.
-There are four restaurants situated along the route.
-Four shelters provide mountaineers, hikers and nature-lovers with a safe resting stop.
-Accomodations are available at first station.
This complex which covers an area of 72 hectars of greenland in western Tehran, is the largest recreational and sports complex in Iran.
